Our Story

Why We Started

Most people accept waking up stiff, foggy, or with a dull ache in their neck as just… normal. Part of adult life. Something you manage with coffee and painkillers.

We didn't think that was good enough. When we started looking into why so many people — desk workers, frequent travelers, people managing real neck problems — were struggling to sleep without pain, the answer kept coming back to the same thing: the pillow.

Most pillows are designed to look good in a shop. They're soft for the first few weeks, then they flatten. They trap heat. They don't support the curve of your neck — they just fill the space between your head and the mattress. We thought: if the problem is this common and this simple, why hasn't anyone just fixed it? That question is what started Lull Grid.

Our Story

Lull Grid started with a lot of testing and a small budget, from Prague, Czech Republic. We weren't backed by investors or part of a big wellness conglomerate. We were just people who wanted to find a pillow that actually worked — and couldn't.

We spent months testing different materials before landing on TPE — a honeycomb-structured material that doesn't flatten, lets air move through it freely, and holds the shape of your neck without pushing back too hard. Once we found it, we wondered why it wasn't everywhere.

The honest answer is that it's heavier, harder to ship, and more expensive to produce than standard memory foam. For a big brand optimising for margin, it's not the obvious choice. For a small brand that actually cares about the product, it is.

We sell one pillow. We put all our attention into making it as good as it can be. We're not trying to be the biggest sleep brand in Europe — just the most trusted one for the people we serve.

Our Mission

We're here for the people who've tried everything. The ones who've replaced their pillow twice in a year and still wake up with a stiff neck. The remote worker whose shoulders ache by 9am. The person who's had a cervical problem for years and just wants one night of proper rest.

We're not selling a cure and we won't pretend otherwise. What we are selling is a pillow built around how your neck actually works during sleep — with the right support zones, the right ergonomic curve, and a material that breathes instead of baking. If that helps you wake up feeling better than you did yesterday, we've done our job.

Our Promise to You

We know buying a pillow online involves a bit of trust. Here's what we commit to:

We'll always be straight with you about the product. The TPE honeycomb material is heavier than a regular pillow — expect that when it arrives. It also takes 3 to 4 nights to fully adjust to, and there may be a faint smell from packaging that disappears completely after one rinse. We'd rather tell you all of that upfront than have you be surprised.

We don't exaggerate what our pillow can do, and we don't hide what it can't. If something goes wrong with your order, you talk to us directly — not a chatbot. We're a small team and we answer our messages.

We're building Lull Grid for the long term. That means we'd rather lose a sale than oversell something to the wrong person. If you have questions before you buy, send us a message. We'll give you a straight answer.
